Package: apt-file
Version: 2.3.0
Severity: normal

search command doesn't work anymore on my system, so I tried in verbose mode:
$ apt-file search fusion.h -v
D: Using cache directory /home/fabo/.cache/apt-file
D: reading sources file /etc/apt/sources.list
D: got 'deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free'
D: kept 'deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free'
D: got 'deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ experimental main contrib non-free'
D: kept 'deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ experimental main contrib non-free'

D: reading sources file /etc/apt/sources.list.d//emdebian.sources.list
D: got 'deb http://www.emdebian.org/debian/ unstable main'
D: kept 'deb http://www.emdebian.org/debian/ unstable main'
D: regexp: ^(.*?fusion\.h[^\s]*)\s+(\S+)\s*$
D: Search in \/home\/fabo\/\.cache\/apt\-
file\/www\.emdebian\.org_debian_dists_unstable_Contents\-amd64\.gz using
zfgrep fusion\.h

removing ~/.cache/apt-file fixed the issue.

cheers,

Fathi
