C-h f yaml-mode C-x o Tab Ret following the help link to the yaml-mode.el source gets an error Can't find library yaml-mode where I hoped it would take me to the yaml-mode.el source. I think it's because yaml-mode.el isn't in any of the load-path directories. The easiest way is to leave a yaml-mode.el symlink in the flavour directory /usr/share/emacs22/site-lisp/yaml-mode etc. emacs-goodies-el for instance now does this. So in /usr/lib/emacsen-common/packages/install/yaml-mode change cp to "ln -s" for the byte compiling, and just leave the link there (to be removed later in the remove script together with the .elc and whole directory.) -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-486 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages yaml-mode depends on: ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a+1-5.7 The GNU Emacs editor ii emacs22-gtk [emacsen] 22.3+1-1 The GNU Emacs editor (with GTK use ii emacsen-common 1.4.19 Common facilities for all emacsen ii xemacs21-mule [emacsen] 21.4.22-2 highly customizable text editor -- yaml-mode recommends no packages. yaml-mode suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
