Package: postgresql-8.3 Version: 8.3.7-1 Severity: normal The postgresql-8.3 package (and all related packages such as postgresql-{client,contrib}-8.3) depend on libpq5 > 8.3~beta1. This causes the latest libpq5 to be installed which has version 8.4.0-2.
I'm not an expert on PostgreSQL, but I thought all binaries should stick with the same major/minor version. Shouldn't postgresql-8.3 depend on libpq5 > 8.3~beta1 && < 8.4?
