I don't know how to find the culprit, but knowing if it's xfdesktop is easy. Just remove Desktop/ and restart xfdesktop. Maybe stracing it, and you'll be sure. One stuff which might do that would be xdg-user-dirs or xdg-user-dirs-gtk. Cheers -- Yves-Alexis
