Package: emacs23-common Version: 23.1+1-2 Severity: normal With my (mail-archive-file-name) = OUTMAIL converted to mbox format, the sending date doesn't show up in that FCC file:
sendmail does (insert "\C-l\n0, unseen,,\n*** EOOH ***\nDate: " (mail-rfc822-date) "\n") , but that gets lost on conversion from Babyl to mbox format, it seems. rmail-toggle-header does show the date onthe 'From line', but that's the only date that's left. A typical mail message is: -------------------- >From jeroen Thu Aug 6 18:30:46 +0100 2009 To: jeroen Subject: test again testing -------------------- so without a separate Date: line. rmail-summary then shows an empty date field, of course. Rather uninformative.. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages emacs23-common depends on: ii dpkg 1.15.3.1 Debian package management system ii emacsen-common 1.4.19 Common facilities for all emacsen emacs23-common recommends no packages.
