Aha!  I'll concede that point, then.  It's a shame that it works this
way, as it leaves LXDE without a way to save/restore touchpad
settings.  But I've been on the #lxde @ irc.oftc.net channel to chat
about this and I am assured that they're aware of the problem and
something is in the works to solve it.
