Package: git-svn Version: 1:1.6.3.3-2 Severity: normal When running "git svn clone" on a large repository, every a few revisions or a single big one it stops with:
fatal: unable to run 'git-svn' git svn fetch resumes the clone, stopping again after a few revisions. If you keep resuming it long enough, the clone ultimately succeeds. Since the executable used to be named "git-svn", it looks like it tries to re-run itself with the old name, instead of "git svn". -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-vserver-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages git-svn depends on: ii git-core 1:1.6.3.3-2 fast, scalable, distributed revisi ii libsvn-perl [libsvn-core-per 1.6.3dfsg-1 Perl bindings for Subversion ii libterm-readkey-perl 2.30-4 A perl module for simple terminal ii libwww-perl 5.829-1 WWW client/server library for Perl git-svn recommends no packages.
