I can reproduce it at will here, and I can also see clearly related problems reproduced by people elsewhere: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=385721 (closed because of Fedora's policy to close all bugs against old releases *spit*) http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=500998 (also reported against network-manager) http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=510678 (reported against libnss-ldap but clearly the same problem) https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/399626 (looks like it could be the same issue, but the report is a little vague) We have a real problem here, which I think may be a major design bug somewhere in network-manager or dbus or possibly gdm. I don't know enough about the internals of any of them to say who is responsible, but the bug is serious and I'm convincing it needs fixing. Maybe you need to talk to upstream about this; I can happily add debug versions of software here if needed and do simple debugging and logging, but I don't have the time to find the fix on my own. -- Steve McIntyre, Cambridge, UK. st...@einval.com Into the distance, a ribbon of black Stretched to the point of no turning back -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
