Ok this whole issue is a bit complicated. The main problem around the breaklinks thing seems to be to find some proper tools for the conversion that handle the url correctly. So far I couldn't find a way to get it working. For reference see the TeX FAQ http://www.tex.ac.uk/cgi-bin/texfaq2html?label=breaklinks What did work is using the breakurl package with an \url ERT. Example document attached.
