Well, something (I still didn't find the lib that prints it) says it does not find GEM and switches back to "classic" (whatever) and libdrm-intel calls GEM stuff (drm_intel_gem_bo_map_gtt()). Ah, google revealed it's mesa: src/mesa/drivers/dri/intel/intel_screen.c i915_dri.so/i965_dri.so. Don't get me wrong, I will surely not insist in fixing old code, it just seemed to me like this switch to the old code is not consistent.
