You should look into your wifi setup, because that really shouldn't
happen. The SoundBridge can be a bit iffy with its wireless, but it
also depends on the AP quite a lot. Not even mentioning the obvious
signal strength issues ;)

b+g mode sometimes doesn't work that great with some APs, so if you
have an old b-only AP lying around, you should give it a try.

This is never going to happen in Debian, as we lack encoders for MP3
and other formats due to patent issues.

It sure can be done, but there would be no point since it couldn't be
used anyway.

Just as dead as mt-daapd. I'd happily package my fork, but Debian
currently lacks a crucial build-dep.
