When I press the "Start" button on my midi controller (Edirol PCR-50), play commences in ardour, however if I press "Stop," and then "Start" again, instead of returning to the beginning of the session, play recommences from the position at which it was stopped. Thus I have, in effect, two "Continue" buttons, but no "Start" button. The "Start" button is sending a system realtime message FAH, "Continue" is sending FCH.
When ardour receives a system realtime message FAH it should play from the start of the session.
I am using Ubuntu Hoary, kernel 2.6.10-7-686, libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22. I am using alsa and JACK packages from current Debian testing. I would upgrade but the recent versions of JACK will break my setup. Thanking you in advance.
