Wish it were mentioned what the acronym PLIP stands for. After hours of digging here offline, I found it: file:///usr/share/doc/lg/issue43/bennet.html "plip: Parallel-line IP" However that isn't as clear as, and slightly different than file:///usr/share/doc/HOWTO/en-html/PLIP.html "Parallel Line Interface Protocol".
