Malaga-7.12-2 fixed another similar potential problem with evolution (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=502546), but this get_info is apparently more difficult since it's part of the public API (in Finnish: http://lists.puimula.org/pipermail/voikko/2009-June/001139.html ).
It could be possible to fix in malaga, but in the end there might even other problems lurking unless whole malaga is patched to use malaga_ prefix everywhere. The upstream is relatively silent thought might be convinced to do another, reworked release.
Libvoikko's (which is linked to from enchant, and which links to malaga) has plans to integrate minimal functionality needed from malaga in the next version, so that depedency on the malaga itself could be gotten ridden of. It's partially to make libvoikko faster and partially to get rid of any problems related to malaga. Work is also currently under way to allow other morphological analysis components besides malaga or the future "internal" malaga (OMorFi is one).
Finally, enchant's Ubuntu maintainer has suggested (I think via e-mail to mhatta) reseparating enchant's voikko plugin to a separate package because of dependencies, even though small that they are at the moment, which would diminish the problem for non-Finnish users. libenchant-voikko was earlier part of tmispell-voikko, but was merged to upstream enchant at which point libenchant-voikko was not split off in Debian's enchant, but was in Ubuntu.
