Package: packagesearch
Version: 2.4+b1
Severity: normal

Using xterm for x-terminal-emulator, and apt-get as the Package Administration
Tool.
When a package install fails, the xterm window closes before the error can be
read and no error message
is passed to the user. The same behavior occurs on an apt-get update error.
