Just tried the updated vim. Copying and pasting ‘étale’ now works as it should - thanks! Just a nit, but copying and pasting ‘“Hello”’ does not work ideally yet. If I copy ‘“Hello”’ in gvim with "*yy, quit, and paste in uxterm as before, the pasted text is ‘¿Hello¿’. I expected ‘"Hello"’ instead. (That is what uxterm produces in similar circumstances and is the output of echo "“Hello”" | iconv -f "UTF-8" -t "ISO-8859-1//TRANSLIT" ). Should I file another bug? Anyway, thanks again for the bugfix! Sincerely, Jonathan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
