Yes, I know. :) But the same freeze happens also with normal Lenny package. And the backport is yours! > > I use LTSP 5 on Debian Lenny. There is no log after the freeze (the thin client graphical interface froze with no warnings and ssh connections just freeze along with everything else). > > The Thincan DBE-62 has a Geode LX700 microprocessor and 256 MB of ram. > > We don't use flat-screen (I changed that in the Thincan's bios but it has > > no effect). > > I am intimately familiar with those as I used to work for Artec. :-) We have exchanged some emails together when I bought 4 Thincans. > It > could be a good idea to ask Artec for a BIOS update, since there were > some stability issues with the BIOS that shipped with those > preproduction DBE62D-700. I'm not familiar with gdb, but does something like running startx through gdb (and then bt if it is not freezed) useful for you? It will be done in a week or two. FYI, this guy has posted on ltsp-discuss about the same problems happening with openchrome and other drivers: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_name=1248449085.7687.49.ca...@vm- ltsp.liitu.vm.opinsys.fi regards Xavier xav...@alternatif.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
