Package: tar Version: 1.15.1-2 Severity: normal Hi, I noticed that tar in sid behaves differently than the one in sarge.
In particular if I do: tar -zc directory -f file.tar.gz it outputs to standard output, rather than to the file. Instead tar -zcf file.tar.gz directory works. This is annoying for people used to the old syntax, and so I think it's worth fixing or at least a warning to the user!
