If that's the case, libbsd0 should be part of D-I.
openssh-client pull libedit2 for /usr/bin/sftp which is not in the udeb, so libedit2 is not used in D-I. > Also. guillem told me a few minutes ago that libbsd0 is a very small > library and having rdate depending on libbsd0 is better than having this > error message from the linux kernel. The udeb is 15kB on kfreebsd-i386. libbsd0 is taking more and more importance in the distribution in order to avoid code duplication (a lot of software originates from *BSD and such have a compat layer for BSD specific functions), which is encouraged by the security team. Sooner or later we will have some more udeb packages depending on libbsd0-udeb (even on Linux), so it may be worth to do the first step now. -- Aurelien Jarno GPG: 1024D/F1BCDB73 aurel...@aurel32.net http://www.aurel32.net -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
