The only difference I see between your build-depends on those on the amd64 buildd when 1.6.2-1 was built are:
> ii libdbus-1-dev 1.2.16-2 instead of 1.2.14-3 > ii libdrm-dev 2.4.12-1 instead of 2.4.11-1 > ii mesa-common-dev 7.5-3 instead of 7.4.4-1 > ii libgl1-mesa-dev 7.5-3 instead of 7.4.4-1 > ii libx11-dev 2:1.2.2-1 instead of 2:1.2.1-1 Mesa is by far the best candidate here. When 1.6.1.901-3 was discovered to be completely buggy for DRI2, Michel thought some commits on the upstream 1.6 branch may need Mesa 7.5. Xserver 1.6.2 contained some fixes that seemed to work fine when built on Mesa 7.4.4, but I guess KDE4 wasn't tested intensively enough.
