1) Next time use reportbug(1) when submitting a bug. It adds important information about relevant installed packages to the mail. 2) What does the following print? $ dpkg -l phonon-backend-* If it says phonon-backend-gstreamer is installed, purge it and install phonon-backend-xine instead. Amarok 2 does not seem to work very well with gstreamer at the moment. What is more, typically gstreamer does not play most formats out of the box. -- Modestas Vainius <modes...@vainius.eu>
