Hi, one possible problem with relying on the website is that it is not versioned, so the documentation may become inexact. If the documentation isn't included in the package, one solution would be to host doc for each current version (unless they don't differ in features) on debian.org. Note that you can tag wontfix and close, but not both at the same time (at least, in theory).
