Package: udev Version: 0.125-7+lenny1 On a "amd64" Lenny server, upgraded from etch this morning, we have this message when udev starts :
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 623: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed! So udev failed to start... and scsi disks are not available, fsck failed, etc. If we continue the boot progress (by enter the root password), "/etc/init.d/udev start" still display the error. But, if we mount /usr, it's ok, "udev start" works !... Very strange (for me). What could be in / usr, that "repairs" udev?
