I'm sorry, I lost track of this bug, and I haven't had a machine with a working sound setup for a while. Unfortunately, this makes me a bit of a poor maintainer for a piece of audio software... Anyway, I finally got around to figuring out how the inputs on this machine are mapped to mixer channels, and FMIT works for me. You mentioned before that you could hear sound from the line in through your speakers. Were you able to capture sound from another program like aplay or audacity? In the "Capture" tab of alsamixer (navigate with the tab key), you may need to select an input channel to capture, using the space bar. If you can get other ALSA-aware programs to capture sound, but not FMIT, then we need to figure out what's different on your machine compared to mine. :) Again, sorry for the terribly late response. I hope this helps to resolve the issue. -- John Wright <j...@debian.org> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
