Package: flac
Version: 1.2.1-1.2
Severity: normal
Hi.
It seems that flac cannot decode flac files, that have no known
extension (ogg/oga/flac).
One gets an error like:
filename: *** Got error code 0:FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_ERROR_STATUS_LOST_SYNC
It can however encode to such files,.. or encode from wav-files
without extension.
If this is not a bug,.. it should be added as a feature:
If this doesn't work,.. one can't easily work with files e.g. created
by mktemp (which doesn't support templates like foo.XXXXXX.ending).
Regards,
Chris.
