Package: gnome-power-manager Version: 2.24.4-3 Severity: important g-p-m says brightness is at 100% (both while on and off AC), but the screen is obviously not at 100% brightness, judging by comparison to before I installed g-p-m. I'd estimate it at no more than 80% of the actual max. When I use the thinkpad brightness keys, the pop-up also claims that brightness is already at the max, as does the brightness applet. Adjusting brightness down, though, works as expected. The ceiling is just artificially low for some reason.
