Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.14.25
Severity: wishlist

Would be nice if dpkg-scanpackages supported the extra override file, as
described in apt-ftparchive(1):

THE EXTRA OVERRIDE FILE
       The extra override file allows any arbitrary tag to be added or
       replaced in the output. It has 3 columns, the first is the package, the
       second is the tag and the remainder of the line is the new value.

this feature becomes essential when deploying a complete debian mirror, as
otherwise some features (like tasksel) won't work due to missing tags.
