Package: gnupg Version: 1.4.1-1 Severity: important Trying to verify a signature (any signature), I get this:
gpg: Signature made Sun Jul 10 13:23:24 2005 CET using DSA key ID 6394265E gpg: checking the trustdb gpg: ../../g10/keyring.c:1388: keyring_rebuild_cache: Assertion `keyblock->pkt->pkttype == PKT_PUBLIC_KEY' failed. I have wiped and restored a copy of ~/.gnupg from a machine where I do not have this problem (it is still running Woody, so has an old version, but copying the directory over to another machine running Sarge does not show this problem), but the problem persists. When it crashes, it leaves a lock file in the ~/.gnupg directory, which means that the next invokation will stall forever waiting for the lock to be released. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26 Locale: LANG=sv, LC_CTYPE=sv (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to sv_SE.ISO8859-1) Versions of packages gnupg depends on: ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.2-7 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libldap2 2.1.30-8 OpenLDAP libraries ii libreadline5 5.0-10 GNU readline and history libraries ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.10a-9.sarge.1 userspace USB programming library ii makedev 2.3.1-77 creates device files in /dev ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4.sarge.1 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
