Hi Everybody,
From my checks with !!! BEWARE VIRUS INFECTED FILE !!!
'http://bigtopleads.cn:8080/cache/readme.pdf' both Scanners clamav and
clamdscan are now scanning infected .pdf files correct through
dansguardian on my testing system.
debian:/etc/dansguardian/contentscanners# dpkg --list | grep 'dansguardian'
ii dansguardian 2.10.1.1-1 Web content
filtering
debian:/etc/dansguardian/contentscanners# dpkg --list | grep 'clamav'
ii clamav 0.95.2+dfsg-2 anti-virus
utility for Unix - command-line i
ii clamav-base 0.95.2+dfsg-4 anti-virus
utility for Unix - base package
ii clamav-daemon 0.95.2+dfsg-4 anti-virus
utility for Unix - scanner daemon
ii clamav-freshclam 0.95.2+dfsg-2 anti-virus
utility for Unix - virus database
ii libclamav6 0.95.2+dfsg-2 anti-virus
utility for Unix - library
note: ScanPDF in /etc/clamav/clamd.conf was set to 1
note2: there where some issues with the socket file for clamd and file/dir
access rights for user clamav on the temp-dirs of dansguardian. i will
have to do some testing on this, for the moment (not productive) i had
clamav-deamon run as root (not a good idea, i know).
THANX TO ALL FOR HELP AND FOR THE GOOD WORK!!!
greetings,
Heiko
