Package: squid Version: 2.5.9-10 Severity: normal With CHUID assign in /etc/default/squid, I created a /var/run/squid/ directory owned by $CHUID.$CHUID. I modified /etc/init.d/squid to use PIDFILE=/var/run/squid/$NAME.pid When I start squid I've got this message :
/var/run/squid.pid: (1) Operation not permitted I didn't see anything wrong in /etc/init.d/squid. Moreover, I think /var/run/squid/ have to be in the paquet. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages squid depends on: ii adduser 3.63 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libldap2 2.1.30-8 OpenLDAP libraries ii logrotate 3.7-5 Log rotation utility ii netbase 4.21 Basic TCP/IP networking system -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
