Thanks for noticing. The dependency is inserted by CDBS generating the control file (if DEB_AUTO_UPDATE_DEBIAN_CONTROL is set) and is indeed spurious. It is caused by a bug in CDBS, #316034. That bug report includes a patch. I propose - marking this as a duplicate of 316034 - not building a new yaird package for this issue alone. - manually fixing the spurious dependency in future yaird updates until CDBS is fixed.
