Package: libncurses5
Version: 5.7+20090606-1
Severity: serious
File: /lib/libncurses.so.5.7
Justification: breaks other packages

Since the latest update of libncurses, I get a lot of segfaults of
programs linking against libncurses. As I haven't seen this behaviour
before the libncurses update, my guess is that it's a ncurses bug.
My dmesg shows e.g.

[19701.044380] top[15170]: segfault at 4cc ip b7ed9c59 sp bfbdf150 error
4 in libncurses.so.5.7[b7eb2000+30000]
[17067.320886] tput[10186]: segfault at 4cc ip b809cc59 sp bfa03190
error 4 in libncurses.so.5.7[b8075000+30000]

Cheers,
Michael
