Package: python-apt
Severity: wishlist

The apt_inst module could be changed to use some classes instead of
providing only functions. The classes planned are DebFile, ArFile,
and TarFile.

I plan to add them in 0.7.92 or 0.7.93, depending on how much time
I have this week.
