Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.11.11-1+b1
Severity: normal

I've been trying to build gdb using pbuilder for a couple of days. Every time,
I get this:

Fetched 99.8MB in 9s (10.9MB/s)
E: Failed to fetch
http://http.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libx/libxau/libxau6_1.0.4-2_amd64.deb:
 Hash Sum mismatch
E: Unable to correct for unavailable packages

I can reproduce this by hand, by:

* Unpacking base.tar.gz from pbuilder
* Setting http_proxy to point to my apt-cacher instance, which has a
  valid copy of libxau6 and does not cache packages lists.
* Installing the dummy build-deps .deb produced by pbuilder.
* Running:
  aptitude -y --without-recommends -o APT::Install-Recommends=false \
    -o Aptitude::CmdLine::Ignore-Trust-Violations=true \
    -o Aptitude::ProblemResolver::StepScore=100 install \
    pbuilder-satisfydepends-dummy

It downloads 147 packages and then reports an error on libxau6. Every
other combination I've tried works, for instance I can install libxau6
directly.

It would help if aptitude printed out the expected and observed checksums;
it's possible this is apt-cacher's fault instead.

I've saved the .deb and base.tar.gz I used to reproduce this, let me know
if you want them.
