Package: apt Version: 0.7.21 Severity: wishlist Hi,
for ia32-apt-get it would be nice if some pinning could be added automatically. Since policy forbids modifying other packages conffiles this can not be done with /etc/apt/preferences. Also, from a users perspective, it would be nice to put pinnings for different repositories into seperate files, e.g. /etc/apt/preferences.d/backports. If you agree then I'm willing to work on a patch for it.
