Hello!
It is rather uncommon to use regular letters like o to mark bulletin
lists. I would suggest you to switch to * instead to make it clear that
you don't mean the lower-case letter o on itself. This will also help
package description renderers like the one that's included in aptitude
and the one that's planed to get into the packages.debian.org site to
distinct between these cases and format them accordingly.
