Package: amavisd-new
Version: 1:2.6.1.dfsg-1
Severity: wishlist

Because $localhost_name is not set in by default in the configration files,
amavisd adds the string
'localhost' in the Received header on all mails it processes.

Some remote anti-spam services (possibly invalidly) trigger on this and mark
such email as spam.

If the package sets $localhost_name (and the user has set the system hostname
to not be "localhost")
this problem can be avoided. Perhaps the default config could be updated to
include:

chomp($localhost_name = `hostname --short`);

in the /etc/amavisd/conf.d/05-node_id file.
