YOu are not even telling which graphics card and/or driver you use... and, uhm, "broken dialogs"? wtf? the dialogs work, it just doesn't get painted correctly... your title suggests that the dialogs were completely broken.... That said, it works here in a sid chroot. But of course I ran lennys X and kernel and don't have any non-fancy drivers (nvdiia, fglrx). Will also try on a clean sid boot tonight but I really believe this is not a OOo issue but a graphics driver one. Do you use nvidia or fglrx by any chance? What happens when you don't use them?
