It's a selfmade problem. Because we have some systems using a compact flash as disk where just the /var filesystem is a RAM-based fs, we wanted to avoid filesystem changes in /etc which get written on the CF all the time. And /etc/adjtime was one of those files. So someone configured an automatically created symlink during debian inst which I forgot about. I guess we can close this bug.
