reassign 517108 linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 thankyou This is not a procps bug, or any other program that tries to read procfs either. The kernel is reporting the wrong numbers, for some reason. ps and friends just use the numbers ther kernel reports.
As I stated in a previous email hte line /proc/<pid>/stat > 4576 (mplayer) S 4210 4576 4210 34817 4576 4202496 4784 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 20 0 1 ^^^^^^^ Those numbers cannot be 0! That's the problem. It may be fixed in newer versions of the kernel. I never personally saw the problem with my setup. - Craig -- Craig Small GnuPG:1C1B D893 1418 2AF4 45EE 95CB C76C E5AC 12CA DFA5 http://www.enc.com.au/ csmall at : enc.com.au http://www.debian.org/ Debian GNU/Linux, software should be Free -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
