Package: python2.4-moinmoin
Version: 1.3.4-5
Severity: normal

Hello,

I installed python2.4-moinmoin and followed README.Debian to set up a
wiki. As /usr/share/moin/server/moin.cgi is in the package
moinmoin-common, the shebang line is '#!/usr/bin/python'.

But because /usr/bin/python is currently version 2.3 of Python the
script is not able to find/use the modules of the python2.4-moinmoin
package.

To workaround this I changed the shebang line of the (copied) moin.cgi
to read '#!/usr/bin/python2.4'. Then it worked.

The proper solution is probably to move the scripts under
/usr/share/moin/server/ from moinmoin-common to the versioned packages.

Best regards
Uwe
