Package: libestools1.2-dev Version: 1:1.2.96~beta-2 Severity: minor When compiling again libestools (such as compiling festival), a huge amount of warnings fills up the build log. These warnings primarily come from EST_ChannelType.h, lines around line number 273-278 (or nearly so).
These are warnings due to bad style: While the statements result in a defined behaviour, this behaviour is non-obvious to the average programmer. The patching would be rather easy (especially compared to what you already did to the package and the festival package ;-)), but if you want that, I could prepare it for you. regards, Sven PS: You are IMHO abusing quilt a bit. It was intended to group patches by the bug they fix or the feature they add, not by the file they are patching. But I know from my own experience, that the way (back) to the "right" patching is not easy. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libestools1.2-dev depends on: ii libc6-dev 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Development Librari ii libesd0-dev 0.2.36-3 Enlightened Sound Daemon - Develop ii libestools1.2 1:1.2.96~beta-2 Edinburgh Speech Tools Library ii libncurses5-dev 5.7+20081213-1 developer's libraries and docs for Versions of packages libestools1.2-dev recommends: ii speech-tools-doc 1.4.2-5 Documentation for the Edinburgh Sp libestools1.2-dev suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
