Package: fpm2 Version: 0.75-1 Severity: wishlist My thanks to Aleš for adding systray support to fpm. This is a cool idea that I'd like to see taken further, with the goal of being able to start fpm at login, and leave it in the systray permanently.
Here's what I think would be required to achieve that goal: * Right now, fpm will immediately ask for a password upon launch. I'd like to be able to launch fpm in the background and send it directly to the systray, just like I do with all my other systray applications. * When clicking on the systray icon after lockdown, either a password must be provided, or fpm must be shut down. It's currently impossible to send fpm back to the systray, if I clicked on the icon by mistake for example. I'd like for the systray icon to remain in place (it currently disappears), and have fpm re-iconify if I either click on the icon or select Cancel. * This is a minor issue, but I'd like fpm to revert back to the default category after unhiding, just like it does on startup. Again, thanks for all your work! -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26.8 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages fpm2 depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.26.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.9-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.8.8-2 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-4 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.9-5 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.20.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.16.2-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.24.3-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libx11-6 2:1.2.1-1 X11 client-side library ii libxml2 2.7.3.dfsg-1 GNOME XML library fpm2 recommends no packages. fpm2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
