Package: mdadm Version: 2.6.9-3 Severity: normal Hi,
when I try to resize/reshape a raid with internal bitmap mdadm fails saying the device is busy and dmesg shows that the raid layer returned error -16. The reason why it fails is that resizing and reshaping doesn't know how to handle the bitmap. Mdadm should detect that a raid has a bitmap and give a proper error message, possibly even suggest to remove the bitmap for the duration of the resize/reshape.
