% ls -la /var/run/screen total 0 drwxrwxrwx 2 root utmp 40 2009-06-24 16:37 . drwxr-xr-x 16 root root 780 2009-06-24 16:38 .. but I gat a similar message: Directory '/var/run/screen' must have mode 775. Seems related.
