Package: module-init-tools Version: 3.2-pre1-2 Severity: normal
modprobe skips /etc/modprobe.d entirely if /etc/modprobe.conf is present. This had me confused for a long while, until I actually looked at the source. Part of this is due to the fact that the manpage is not very explicit about this behavior. This should probably be fixed upstream. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (99, 'unstable'), (1, 'pool') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.8.1 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages module-init-tools depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an module-init-tools recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
