Hi,

Yesterday I dist-upgraded my debian/unstable and wicd stopped working. The only "fix" is disable "hidde access point essid" in my router.

With last version (before dist-upgrading), all worked fine (I don't change anything in my network/router configuration).

My scenario is a router, with a hidden ESSID, static ip addresses (no dhcp) and WPA2 security. Client hardware is acer aspire one laptop with ath5k module.

        The stored profile in /var/lib/wicd/configurations is:

        ap_scan=1
        ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
        network={
                ssid="<hidden>"
                scan_ssid=0
                proto=WPA RSN
                key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
                pairwise=CCMP TKIP
                group=CCMP TKIP
                psk="xxxxxxxxxxxxx.....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
        }

I tried to edit manually this file and storing ssid="myessid" but still failing. Also, as some response on official forums, I used the top left Network button on wicd with "Find a hidden network" but I can't find my hidden network.
