severity 534219 minor tags 534219 = moreinfo unreproducible thanks logrotate inherits its PATH from cron.
It works fine on my system, and many daemons' logrotate.d postrotate scripts depend on invoke-rc.d being on the path. /etc/crontab should start with (ignoring comments): SHELL=/bin/sh PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin If it doesn't, that's what's causing the problem, not logrotate. Demoting severity to minor, as it doesn't seem to be a problem on most systems.
