Package: iscsitarget Version: 0.4.16+svn162-3 Severity: wishlist
Currently, a full restart of iscsitargeti(ietd) is necessary when changes to ietd.conf have been applied. As a consequence the iscsi target services are shutdown for some seconds (or even more if you screwed the config), which may be quite nasty to your currently connected iscsi-initiators. It would be tremendously helpfull to have a "config reload" capability on ietd. Maybe on a HUP or other SIGUSR* signal, which rereads ietd.conf and applies the changes without interruption of service. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.1 APT prefers proposed-updates APT policy: (410, 'proposed-updates'), (400, 'stable'), (300, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
