Package: gnome-volume-manager Version: 2.24.1-3 Severity: normal I don't know how to configure the default program to launch when my music player is detected. I remember (but I'm not 100% sure) that there was a tab for this in the gnome-volume-properties window in previous versions of gnome-volume-manager.
Currently, when I plug my audio player it automatically launches vlc and starts playing music. It is quite annoying when everybody's sleeping in the house... -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers stable APT policy: (900, 'stable'), (400, 'testing'), (300, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gnome-volume-manager depends on: ii gconf2 2.26.2-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii gnome-mount 0.8-2 wrapper for (un)mounting and eject ii hal 0.5.11-8 Hardware Abstraction Layer ii libc6 2.9-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.14-3 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib 0.80-4 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libgconf2-4 2.26.2-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglade2-0 1:2.6.4-1 library to load .glade files at ru ii libglib2.0-0 2.20.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome2-0 2.26.0-1 The GNOME library - runtime files ii libgnomeui-0 2.24.1-1 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgtk2.0-0 2.16.2-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libhal1 0.5.12~git20090406.46dc48-2 Hardware Abstraction Layer - share ii libnotify1 [ 0.4.5-1 sends desktop notifications to a n ii libx11-6 2:1.2.1-1 X11 client-side library Versions of packages gnome-volume-manager recommends: ii gthumb 3:2.10.11-1 an image viewer and browser ii nautilus-cd-burner 2.24.0-3 CD Burning front-end for Nautilus ii sound-juicer 2.24.0-2 GNOME 2 CD Ripper ii totem 2.26.2-1 A simple media player for the GNOM Versions of packages gnome-volume-manager suggests: ii rhythmbox 0.12.1-1 music player and organizer for GNO pn serpentine <none> (no description available) pn wine <none> (no description available) ii xsane 0.996-1 featureful graphical frontend for -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
